Depicting the history of the Verde River Valley from prehistoric times to the present, the River of Time Museum includes exhibits on Fort McDowell, the Dixie Mine, the Roosevelt Dam, and the development of the town of Fountain Hills. The museum is located in the Fountain Hills Town Center Complex.
